Scott Blanks, Managing Director  Serving as Managing Director and a company actor, Scott has performed for SCSC as
Henry in Henry V, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oliver in As You Like It, Antonio
in The Tempest, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Grumio in The Taming of the Shrew, A
Christmas Carol, Orsino in Twelfth Night, and Lord Hastings/Richmond in Richard III.Scott has performed in theatres throughout the United States and Canada in such productions as Hamlet, Brigadoon, Kiss Me Kate, and The Fantasticks. He toured the U.S. with the national touring company of Evita, directed by Tony Award winning choreographer Larry Fuller. Many may remember him as the featured performer in the 1994 Miss South Carolina Pageant. Scott received his BA in Theatre from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his MFA in theatre from the University of South Carolina. Scott currently serves as the Chair of the Fine Arts Department at Benedict College. email Scott Blanks |
